A unique workshop offering a deeper way to experience tea and tisane. Together, in this immersive experience, we will go on a journey along the Silk Road - a road that not only connects us to the teachings of the Japanese Medlar plant (BIWA), AZGIL in Iran, but connects Miki and I personally through our culture of Iran and Japan. We will be immersed in the world of BIWA/AZGIL, celebrating her traditional and medicinal uses, then slowing down in the present with a tasting journey and an opportunity to observe and listen to her stories, her medicine and the codes she carries using our senses and our body's intelligence. We will then go on another tasting journey with a special personal blend of Persian tea made by Shaghayegh. Concluding our journey of the Silk Road, from Iran to Japan.
